Girls are Growin Up before my Eyes!

This has been quite the eventful week for us...to say the least! We were spose to go up north snowmobilin, but weather decided to be 50's and melt our snow! Then Piper's ears decided to become infected yet again! She just recieved the rocephin shot's a week ago and the ears cleared up for a whoppin 3 days and flared up again..so once again 3 days of shots, she seems to be a lot better this round and the ears arent draining anymore, so fingers crossed!! Our Dr. want's us to go see the ent dr again and talk tonsils and adnoids, so we will see! Then on Saturday Libby got a small shot of the flu, thought it was all over with had a good day for most of the day today then supper time rolled around and she got sick again! We've had a winter storm today on top of all this too, I'm goin to look at the silver lining here and say it all worked out for the best us not goin up north this weekend!! Piper this weekend has accomplished climbing up the whole set of stairs, she makes it her mission and anytime she see's a weakness in someone leaving the door open she bolts! She's walking more and more behind stuff making it her more prominent way of getting around, she also had her lower left lateral come in so she's up to 7 teeth now! During the storm today we managed to lose power for about 10 min tonite..Libby wasnt too happy about this, even with the control of her very own flashlight..I think tornado recovery is going to take some time! She's to smart for her own good,she remember's EVERYTHING..all the way down to when we have hamburger noodle hotdish for supper she remembers that's what we ate in the basement one time when there was a storm this last summer! Last weekend we went to a hotel with Josh's family and the kids had a blast swimming, Libby had strep but she still managed to play hard and have lot's of fun! We also got to celebrate her birthday and she's all about birthday parties!!! As for Josh and I we're good, keepin busy and trying to stay ahead of it all!! I had to make a few more cakes this month so I think I'll post pics of those!!

MY BABY IS 4!!!

Well I cant believe it Libby Lynn turns 4 tomorrow!!!! Time has flown by thats for sure!! We did her party yesterday and she had a blast!! I made her a toothless night fury dragon cake!( A far cry from her princess cake last year but thats ok!!!) We had the family over for spaghetti-her choice, had cake opened presents and then went bowling!!(Great grandpa and grandma soost were able to join us at the house so that was nice! Tomorrow for her birthday I took the day off of work and do some of her most favorite things!! We will start off with dropping Piper off at Daycare, then onto McDonalds for breakfast then onto swimmin the mornin away, then I plan to surprise her with a trip to Walmart to pick out her very own Fishy!(Just one in a fish bowl, Im going to try and talk her into a Beta fish so it will last a long time and it's very easy to take of!! Then when we're all done with that I'm guessing preschool will be canceled tomorrow so home to hang out until Dad comes home to open presents, and I'm tryin to get her to tell me her fav. meal but she just keeps coming up with spaghetti(josh isn't to thrilled about having spaghetti 2 times within three days!! Libby's newest most proud accompishment would have to be her ability to pour herself her very own bowl of cereal-milk included! After she was done she came running to me all excited over her accomplishmet and she looks at me seriously and says "we'll just stick to bowls for now, ok mom, we can work on cups later!"! As for Piper Ann she's getting closer and closer to walking, getting more brave everyday! She loves to dance(which I'm hoping to get a video put on here) Ive taught her how to go mmmmm after she takes a bite of food! She still shakes her head no at every question you ask! She waves bye bye, does so big and peek a boo! She's growing up too quickly also!! On the tooth side she has her two lower incisors in her upper laterals and her to front teeth have officially "broke" thru!!! Josh and I are staying busy run here and there, Libby had her 1st dance recital on the 21st of January, she did pretty well and had a blast doing it!!

HAPPY NEW YEARS!!

Well another year has came and gone, and at the end of the day/yr. we have 2 BEAUTIFUL lil' ladies, that are healthy,happy and full of spunk! I think Lib's was born for christmas....She was pumped for the 25th of December!!! When we were getting everything ready for santa Libby says to me, "ya know mom santa is gonna come in our house with his shoes on!" I did let her know that was ok and he had a lot to do that night to take his shoes off at everybody's house! So once morning was here Libby hopped into our bed at 6:30 and I told her I would go see if Santa came..I got down stairs and I yelled up to let her know he had been here and I hear her little voice go to Josh "THIS IS GONNA BE SOOO AWESOME!" So she made her way downstairs put her hand over her mouth and screamed in surprise! She had a blast she got a few of her top listed items such as the braid n braid hair rapunzel and a fire breathing dragon, toothless! As for Piper she ate her share of paper had and had a great time watchin her sister! Piper has really started to grow up now, she's mastered crawling and pulling herself up and now she free stands, does soo big, shakes her head NO at you and claps..may seem little to non parents but to me I couldn't be more proud! As for Libby she's back in school now and as I'm writing this she's been napping on the couch since I carried her in from the car! She did however today make the EXCITING discovery of yellow snow at mom and dads and had to show all of us and tell us NOT to eat it!! Until next time Happy New Year!!

Something to Do on a Snow Day!

Enjoying A Blizzard!

Today and Yesterday the girls and I have not left the house! It's kind of nice having no plans and just putzing in the house(I'm officially old!) We have decided to not let this blizzard we're having right now put a damper on our fun today, so we decided to go all out and bake our christmas cookies! We've done choc. stars and mint choc. chip cookies,pretzels with the almond bark,carmel corn,marshmellow rice krispie bars, cutouts,and rolo cookies!! So needless to say the bells will be inquiring a few more calories this weekend! Libby's been helping and she's all about the taste testing and Piper hasn't minded the occasional cookie as well! Speaking of miss Piper the Viper she has officially become a crawler!!! On Wed. this week I went to turn on our laptop and to my surprise Piper was there to help me!! She started crawling all over the livingroom!! She's even starting to pull herself up, mostly to her knees but I have a feeling we have hit the fastlane for her growing up into a toddler before we know it stage! Miss Libby lynn is still as spunky as ever, she has now told me she wants to do kung foo instead of dance....(I'm secretly kinda liking this current idea!) We took her out for her 1st snowmobile ride of the season last weekend and she loved it when we were done he said ma that was cool and awesome! She just needs to work on her head control wih her helment on, once she has that mastered she's gonna be a pro!!
