Bring on the Summer!!

Libby just finished her 1st yr of preschool, and her first yr of dance this last wk!! She did a GREAT job at her dance recital and she also was pretty proud @ her 1st yr preschool graduation!! Her preschool graduation was pretty cute she took me on a tour of her classroom showed me all her projects, the teacher had them do a little song and dance, then she had each one stand up and she told them why they were so special, libby's list included a pretty smile, happy all the time, loves to talk and is a great helper! She then had them walk up to these little stairs where they were handed a diploma! After that she had the parents do a project with the kids, it was making them a visor to wear this summer! So all in all it was a good time and Libby shined with pride the whole time! She's working more and more on her letters and spelling, she surprised Josh and I both the other day when she showed us she could write and spell pig all on her own!! When she asked Josh how to spell dinosaur..he told her to ask mom! She's on a kick right now of everything has happened on last thursday she will come to me and say mom you remember when we jumped on the trampoline last thursday or you let me do it last thursday or mom you remember I did that on last thursday! Don't know why this has been the day she chose but none the less last thursday is a pretty hoppin day!! As for Piper she's still our little monster climbing over everything and anything, she is now pointing for everything she wants and she says mama, dadda, stop it, no, hi/bye(those 2 sound the same kinda!) and more! She thinks she's pretty funny she laughs at herself all the time! We are getting ready for a summer of fishing/camping/swimming we have libs signed up again for swim lessons in June shes pretty excited! So as a family we are all pretty busy! I got the garden planted..last thursday(it actually did happen on last thursday!haha) It's a really late yr for the garden, normally I have it all done on mothers day but it's been way to cold this yr!! Just wanted to pop in and give some updates since I see it's been almost a month!!!

Don't get Fancy just get Dancy!

Well its our weekly Dancin Friday, the girls and I turn the tunes up and dance all around the house! They LOVE it and I gotta say it's one of my favorite days as well!! Piper even get's into it now and shakes her lil booty too! Lib's loves to rock out just as much as she loves to girl it up, when a slower song comes on she's immediatly putting on her play fancy shoes and a dress and goes twirling around the house! I gotta say right now for Piper she digs the one with a good beat, she immediatly starts bobbing her head and doing her little squat dance! Can't believe she's already one! Her birthday and Parties went well! I made her a teddy bear cake and a Lady bug cake, she didnt dive into the cakes like I expected! But you should of seen her pack away the hotdogs at one of her parties!! She ate 3!! She didnt want anything else but hotdogs! Everyday her personality is comin out more and more! She's this little comedian who laughs at her own quirks, she's super duper ticklish and loves to talk!! She can say stop it now and you can understand milk when she's trying to say that! She's got a little devilish side to her followed with this evil chuckle and smirk...like now everyday she goes to our entry way and throws all our shoes over the basement door so in the morning when your in a hurry you have to go down to the basement and sometimes under the steps to find your shoes! As for Lib's she's spunk,goofball,and Drama Queen all rolled up into one! I would say being 4 for her as been a crazy, her emotions are all over the place and she doesn't quite know how to show it...well other then extremely! She's a super big sister she plays well with Piper on most days! She's ready for summer so we can go to the cabin! Right now she has this phobia of all bugs...any kind including house flies so we will see how her management skilld come when it comes to mosquito's! I already gave her the talk that this summer there will be lots of bugs and she never minded before and she shouldnt be scared. I talked to her about mosquitos and she was freaked out..she asked do they bite you..ummmmm. what do I say to this question?? I did tell her yes but she wont bleed, etc etc. Ya I don't know how it all went, she kind of looked at me with this mortified confused look...like I can't believe my mom is telling me ya these bugs will bite you and your not gonna die...maybe not so much! Kind of look! The girls for there birthdays got money from the grandparents to go towards a trampoline so their pretty excited to get to have one this summer! Well I think thats about everything we are all ready for easter, going to dye eggs tomorrow, we have the bell side tonite, grandma soost tomorrow then mom and dads on sunday, should be fun..Libby who was made for parties and holidays is pretty excited!! Happy easter!!!

Piper's Less Than A week a Away to the # 1!!

Both of the girls are napping and Josh is helping some friends tile their bathroom, so I thought I would do a little catch up!! As I sit here writing this I'm thinking to myself I CAN NOT believe my lil lady Piper is less than a week away from being one! She's walking like a pro..even throws in a little run here and there, and she loves to Wrestle!! She will give you her warning playful growl and Lunge at you and laugh the whole time!! Her little sense of humor is coming out more and more everyday! The Other day she put an icecream pale over her head and started to jabber while she was in the pale and started to laugh at how funny she sounded, so she then got up and roamed the house with a pale on her head, talking,laughing,talking,laughing! I've gotten her to say milk..(at least it sounded like it when she repeated me!) She loves giving you big open mouth slobbery kisses...and she laughs afterwards! I think she's going to give me a run for my money!! As for her older sister she's lovin life, and learning her letter's better and better everyday! She's become a real schmoozer to getting people to let her stay overnight! I think I'm just gonna add some pic's now and let everybody enjoy those!!

Updates!

It's been ahwile since I've been able to Post, so I figured I better give some updates! The biggest news Is we now have a walker!! Piper started walking Feb 27th and has been on the move ever since!! She loves to climb on or up things, harder to keep track of her!! She now has nine teeth including a molar!! She loves to unload the dishwasher with me and when we're all done she tries to climb in it! She gives high fives now and is starting to point at things she wants! It's hard to believe she's going to be one in just a couple of weeks! Libby is loving Preschool still and learning more and more she's does awesome at coloring and she even made me a picture the other day and told me she knew how to spell my name..so she wrote MOM on it! Needless to say I was Pretty Proud!! We are all itching to get outside and enjoy some sun, We've managed to get out and swing a couple times, and Josh even got her gator out the other day for her to drive around! Other than life going by too fast we are keeping busy and managing to have some fun too!
