Libbys 3!!!!

Holy smokes where has the time gone my little libby lynn is 3!!! Shes grown up tooo fast! This year we decided to do the big birthday party bashs one for my side and one for joshs side all in the same day! A lot of work but Libs and all had a great time!! She got some really nice things...Shoes, clothes, giftcards,money,beanbag pink hairspray a sit n spin a Ds game swimsuit a custom pillow along with blanket a guitar and a Gator!!! She had a princess birthday theme party(of course!) I made her a three tier cake and topped with princess's and crown! She wore her birthday girl shirt and ran around singing happy birthday to me! Today were goin to go Bowling something Libs has wanted to do for awhile and shes super pumped!!! Tomorrow for her actual birthday I took a half day and were just goin to hang out and I'm sure play princess!! Shes really ready for baby to come time is approachin quickly, things are goin well! Were going to start the remodel in the dining room so we can keep moving on the nursery! Libby was sick the other day double ear infections AGAIN!! But when we were leaving the drs she tells me Mom I just want it to be warm out! Dont we all!!! Well time for me to get goin In the words of my all to wise close to 3yr old aww ma this is a sweet life!!

Holidays over Bring on the New Year!!

I cant believe its Jan 2010 is here!! Let alone were officially in the year that we'll get to meet our new little baby!!! 3 months and Josh and I will be parents of 2!!!! We're excited nervous and anxious!!! The baby is kicking all the time now you can even see it through my shirt, books say it weighs about 2lbs now and responds to light so we decided to give it a whirl and hold the flashlight to my belly and see.... well ok Libby held the flashlight to my tummy and said the whole time yup I see it theres a baby in there!! Josh has had this week off so hes been going full force on the office/temporary nursery this week! Libby had a great christmas 2 days before christmas she was walking around the house singing oh santa claus I love you please dont forget me!!! We did take her to the mall to meet santa and she did great wasnt scared or anything santa asked if she would sit on his lap and she said no but I'll sit by you! That worked for me we got some good pictures and it made her night! Christmas morning came around and when she seen her stocking full and all the presents under the tree she beamed! It was soo nice getting that christmas excitement back in the house since this was the first year she could truly understand and excited for it! We then went to mom and dads house to open gifts....this was plan B since plan A was to drive out to see chris and Jara and the kids after we were done opening gifts that morning but weather didnt cooperate and we were put into plan B's hands! Ma had a friend dress up as santa and bring the kids gifts they all thought that was pretty neat! We had our traditional egg bake and butter braid breakfast. We all had a great time just relaxing watchin movies while the kids played with their new toys! Libbys presents this year were a lot of Princess things which was heaven to her she is sooooo obsessed with princess I think I play princess with her everyday! Other then that Life this year has been good to us we were thrown a few curve balls health wise with Joshs Diagnoses of Diabetes my miscarriage and surgery and Libbys constant battle with those darn ear infections!!! But I can honestly and thankfully say we have had way more blessings! Those things are miner to the full scale of things! Now its the new year and were looking forwards to the addition to our family as well as watching Linny grow up and somehow manage to become sassier and sweeter everyday! I wish everyone a happy start to the new year!
